It's been a while since I've had as much fun with a Nintendo handheld as I've had with the Nintendo 3DS. There are so many great games that my game library has grown to 60+ in just 6 months. Another reason also being that games are on "super sale" almost always due to the lacking user base. The thing is though that the Nintendo 3DS plays best in 2D if you ask me, the 3D mode makes me dizzy and if the screen is tilted the wrong way just slightly, everything becomes a gigantic blurry mess. So here's the latest from Nintendo.... My first reaction towards the 2DS was "are you f***** kidding me?!" but then again why not? it makes sense as I also believe most 3DS games are best played in 2D, and I bet I'm not alone. Clearly not as Nintendo has decided to launch a new handheld called something as original as "Nintendo 2DS" a 3DS without 3D, with no clam shell which makes it look a bit silly, but hey, why not?! The Nintendo 2DS will sell for $129 (in the US, most definitely more in Europe) although no Japan release has been planned yet. Screen wise it'll be the same size than the original Nintendo 3DS... now if only they would loose the region lock.
