After Software Creations had worked on the ports of Doom and Hexen for the N64, a team set out to develop a game described as "Defender in 3D with helicopters and tanks" - to be called Conscripts.
Sadly though development didn't get very far. After some initial work on a 3D engine, some concept art and low polygon assets the development team was disbanded and people were moved to work on World Cup 98, co-developed with Electronic Arts.
According to Francis David O'Brien, 3D artist at Software Creations, Conscripts was designed by Marc Dawson. |
