Your Wii should have an outlit that allows for Eternet connection. In short you want to use your labtop like an hub???

your OS should have an internet connection sharing feature that allows for this.

You can also purchase wireless hub/router and connect wireless to your connection, if it is operational.

Yeah, the Wii is pretty much stricly wireless unless you purchase a LAN adapter.

If for some reason you want an ethernet connection to your WII, get the adapter and you can do it one of two ways:

1) Make sure your wireless router for the laptop is near your Wii.  Then just run a cable from one of the wired ports on the back of the router to the Wii.  That's a little redundant, but it would work if you need a wired connection.

2)  The crazy redundant, pointless way is to get on the wireless Internet with your laptop, connect a CROSSOVER ethernet cable (NOT a normal one) from your laptop's ethernet port to the Wii's ethernet port, then bridge the two network adapters on your OS so that one provides Internet to the other.

I don't know why on Earth you'd do that in the first place, but your question seems a little strange.  Maybe it would help if you explained further?
