Well...seeing as the label seems to have been photoshopped from the label for Hogan's Alley, you could always use that Cheesy

Is there a way to convert mp3s into nes music , if there is ,can someone please make time to convert this one:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2TFL1QT2

and since i dont have paint shop on this laptop, can someone convert the size of this label ,without losing much resolution, so its still legible?

Maybe the artist selected Hogan's Alley as it has all the letters in it for "Halo", making it much eaiser to photshop.  I think a game like Freedom Force would be a bit better to hack with Halo characters.  Hogan's Alley would still be hilarious, though.

About the music thang:

MP3s are audio files, as NES Music is more like MIDIs; actually, more like tracked files such as MOD or IT.

I can make NSF files, but is there any way to put them back into roms?

Yeah, that's something I've been wanting to try.  It should be doable for most games, depending how much RAM is free after the old sound engine is removed.

It'd be pretty easy to set up NT2 for something like that.  MCK might require a bit more hackery.  With either one, it's pretty likely you'll need expansion RAM anyways, so using the original cart for the game could be out of the question (and if the game already uses expansion RAM, a hack would be less likely to succeed).  My Squeedo cart has 32kB of RAM though.  Smiley

That's good, one thing I've been wanting to do is replace the Battletoads & Double Dragon Ratship music for the first level with the SNES version, change the images of the characters & alter the title screen.

I use NT2.  The only thing, however, is that I don't know how to insert PCM sounds.  The text file confused me.

You have to press shift+* or shift+F3 to get to the DPCM editor.  Then load the samples in there, and set the frequency/sample # in the note table editor.

The loading part gets to me.  I also need a good WAV->PCM Converter; Meridian's doesn't work too well for me.
