The book is fantastic, and really is a must-read for any NES-era Nintendo fan.

If anyone's still looking for a copy, you can get in on Amazon for relatively cheap.

I have a copy of this book. I got it 2 years ago but I hate reading. I read the first 3 chapters and put it down. I thought the parts that I read were super interesting but for some reason I just can't get into a book not even a non-fiction about Nintendo. Definitely glad I have the book though and don't want to part with it.

The research that David Sheff did about Nintendo's early history was very extensive. I never realized all the crap Nintendo did back then to become the juggernaut they are today.

It's a great book and there's a few parts that tell like a proper story.  Loses focus a bit towards the end but well worth reading.
