Trying out the Gameshark pro v3.2
29. Jan 2013 at 01:31

Hey all,

I just got my GS pro v3.2 and downloaded the software GSCC 1.10 from the forum post. However the software keeps crashing and says it stopped working when I try to detect my system or go into Ram editor. Yes I have the right cable and fallowed all steps in post. I am running Win 7 64bit if that is any concern. I mainly am curious of what I can be doing wrong or if the software is just obsolote! Is there another program? Any help would be great!

Cheers

I'm pretty sure this old program doesn't work under Windows 7 64bit, it doesn't on my PC. My PC didn't have a parallel port either but I bought a PCI-E card and installed a Windows XP on top of a VMware Player
(http://www.vmware.com/products/player/)

But I still had no luck, I was already tired of messing around so I didn't test the VMware Player option that much.

I managed to get my hands on an old laptop with a parallel port, installed Windows XP and that's my GS rig (and other old copy devices for that matter).
