ACTUA GOLF 4
... NOW KNOWN AS PGA EUROPEAN TOUR GOLF
DEVELOPER Gremlin Interactive (Infogrames Sheffield House)
ORIGINAL PUBLISHER Gremlin Interactive
ACTUAL PUBLISHER Infogrames
ORIGINAL TITLE Actua Golf 4
ACTUAL TITLE PGA European Tour Golf

In February 1999 Gremlin Interactive announced that they had secured the rights to the PGA European Tour for the next 3 years. Actua Golf had already been on the N64 release schedule for some time and Gremlin announced that PGA would be used for their next installment, Actua Golf 4 which also would be ported to the N64.

Fast forward to March 1999, Infogrames approached Gremlin with a takeover purchase and the two major stockholders in Gremlin agreed. Gremlin was then renamed to Infogrames Sheffield House.

While major videogame site IGN has Actua Golf 4 set to cancelled, the game actually did see a release, as PGA European Tour Golf, released both in Europe and America, although in somewhat limited quantities. Released June 15 2000 in the US and sometime in May 2000 in Europe.
