Prototypes are the holy grails among collectors of pretty much any video game system. With that in mind though a lot of collectors
seem to avoid these gems in fear of either breaking them or the prototypes breaking themselves with the what's knows as bitrot, where
the data on the EPROMs start to decay.
The cool thing about prototypes is that some are completely unreleased meaning you could very well be the only one in the world
owning the game or the prototype could have features that were scrapped in the final game. Prototypes are a great piece of the
gaming history and if you remember to backup your prototypes there's no need to worry about loosing the games because of bitrot.
