MEGA BOOK - PERSONAL EDUCATIONAL COMPUTER (9800-AX)
FAMICOM ON THE MOVE... SORT OF...
Now what we have here is not the common Famicom clone, what we have here is something I had never seen before and again after this one encounter - a famicom clone shaped as a laptop. To keep the cost of the clone down however it of course doesn't include a nice LCD screen for playing games other than a sad Tetris one billion in one which is actually one game in one...

This bulky oddity is incredibly lightweight has two 9pin joypad connectors, one on each side. It obviously has a keyboard which doesn't work too well to be honest, and neither does the power button in the upper left corner, which by the way is supposed to light up 3 light emitting diodes, in three colors - yellow, green and red, most likely to simulate battery life.

Two blue/transparant Playstation lookalike joypads are included. There's not much to be said about these other than they're extremely light weight but seems to do the job. The D-Pad is true PSX style instead of the Nintendo one and it seems to work quite well. Turbo buttons are of course included.

The internals of this clone is a real laugh. Inside the massive and bulky plastic are a few small PCB's to be found, connected with some ribbon wire. The clone is clearly a NOAC (NES On A Chip) as there's only a single gloptop chip at the bottomside of the PCB with the cartridge connector.

A multicartridge is included with the clone, as no games are built-in. Along with the 33in1 (+ 18) cartridge which I seems to have lost came a pretty interesting instruction booklet which has some pretty important information such as...

Yeah ummm okay!

Anyway, the cartridge includes the following games, the list is taken directly from the instruction booklet as I was too lazy to type it all in.

Final verdict, well this is definately the worst pile of junk i've ever seen, I mean they didn't even put enough effort into this clone to even make the power button work... what a waste of good plastic..
