A prototype which caused quite a stir when it was shown to the public after a lady supposedly got it from a secondhand store where someonehad brought in a bunch of old videogame stuff. The store wouldn't accept the tall odd looking N64 cartridge, so the lady offered the seller to buy it.
After attempts to sell it on a facebook page the lady took it to ebay where trolls bid the cart up to a staggering 65000 pounds, but "of course" the buyer cancelled. Another attempt to sell on ebay was made but the auction was deleted shortly after, supposedly by ebay. After a verification that the item does exist the seller was allowed to make a third auction.
Now by then I had lot interest in tracking the thing to be honest, there was just too much negativity surrounding it, so I can't say if it sold or not, but I believe a buy it now price of around 4000 pounds was set.
To top things off the seller has been unable to get the cart to boot, but that doesn't mean that there isn't a game on it. |
