Title: Famicom Disk System and US Yobo?
Post by youarefree on 29. Mar 2006 at 01:09
Hey everyone. Has anyone used a FDS with an American Yobo and fami converter? I just picked up a Yobo because it was cheap, and my buddy in Japan is sending me a FDS.

So does anyone have a FDS and a Yobo? I could have picked up a Fami Yobo clone, but I wanted the regular NES controller ports.

Nope... I'm using a FDS with the RetroCon (http://www.nesworld.com/p8-rcon.htm) and it works great.

I'm sure the FDS will work with the Yobo clone aswell.

I tried using my new FDS with a Yobo tonight and it didn't work.  I kept getting different errors: first error 21, then error 22, then error 3.  Then I plugged it into my toaster and it worked fine, so I'm going to rule by trial and error that it does not work with a Yobo.
