There's better places out there you know...I always have disliked Digit Press. There's too many people there.

i need to find more n64 collectors or places where only n64 collectors go. its hard to find them.........

If you find a place like that, will you let me know?  1996 - seems like only yesterday when we first got our N64.  We had no games - only Wave Race 64, a rental... nostalgic.

Somebody should register a domain for a Nintendo 64 World website.  N64world.com is already taken, but I'm sure you could think of another clever URL.  

I would love to see an "N64World.net" and even help contribute. I want a crappity smacking scene!

Yeah 1996 doesnt seem that far off. I had Pilot Wings 64 & Super Mario 64 at Launch, Played the Shit out of them, Still love Pilot Wings...

I gues DP does really suck cuz i pissed some guy off becuase i told him i didnt want to take his offer. So crappity smacking what i said i dont want it why send me 2 pms complaining about how im not a real n64 collector and dont know certain games value. He had to bust out his price guide. LOL

Price guides dont mean shit! i think i varies on location and avalibility in that location anyway....

I'm not going to bash DP or anything because there are several good collector's over there and I've traded/sold many things to them. But they do seem to have the few that are just complete jerks that like to make it hard for everyone.

As for it being down, seems like it is almost all the time. My main priority when going over there is to check the proto-dev thread and any of the threads I've started over there. And every now and then, I might buy something from someone. Other than that, I usually just stick to here and nesforums.net.

Yeah, video game wise it's between here and my Famicom World forums.

I have nothing against Digitpress either, and the more people the merrier. It worked fine for me all day long.

Is it just me or DP down again in a "debug" mode? It's been like that for two days now so I'm wondering if it's just my internet/computer or if it's the actual site?

Is there even a good N64 website out there?  I know Martin used to have one, what ever happend to that?

The Forums are working fine today (aug. 2nd)

I was looking at the n64 site nick and i see it will have a lot of things other sites already have....I wouldn't waste the time and energy w/ codes and guides and the like. Just tell people to go "here" or "there" for said things.

N64 world should only have exclusive content like NESworld mostly has.

I agree with Opi_TeKK.  There should be info on protos, test equipment, things that the average wannabe player doesn't know, etc.

Infact, why don't you try to start something, TeKK?  Don't have enough time?

Jedi - I Dont have that much knowledge of html and webjunk and dont know enough about obscure n64 knowledge.....

But you can always learn and teach yourself, that is what I am slowly doing.  Or why not team up and offer to help Nick some.  Takes a lot of info and knowledge to get a good website started.  I have been collecting NES for a long time, and I still learn new stuff all the time.  2 heads are better than one, unless Nick doesn't want/need the help.  Just a thought....

From what I've read it's because they are doing a HUGE upgrade. That's the reason they've been down so much. I guess it's getting to big for the server they are on and are trying to move to a new one WHILE doing an upgrade. At least that's how I understand it. But yeah, the whole being down thing is getting really annoying.

What else is new?  ::) It's been down all wekk practically.

The update have been going on for 1-2 months now. Its a big site indeed, but not HUGE. I wonder why it takes so much time. Guess the people working on it aint prioriting (spelling) the upgrade.

I'm just curious...they're not currently in-print and they don't charge for access to their database...who's funding them? Are they going to have another edition? What's the nature of their existence? It's mystified me since I tried hunting for their classic edition and couldn't come up with one...

Its a good site but It is getting to be a pain  its up one minute and down the next..I really havent had much luck on dp anyway trying to trade,buy or sell. Maybe they need to go in and purge all the threads older than a year to free up space..unless its a really important topic I dont see the need in saving threads any longer than a year.

I know I was looking forward to hearing everyone's thoughts on them but now the hype will have died down.
Maybe they did it on purpose to cut down on the amount of flaming.

Mayhem told me that they were gonna upgrade it soon but when exactly he didn't say. Hopefully now is the time they do it.
