Title: Devil World...
Post by JC on 24. Jul 2006 at 21:15
I've been told it exists as a single 72-pin cart (none of that multi-cart business), only being sold in PAL-B Europe. I've seen Rodland on eBay; I've seen every other hard to find game -- even a gold NWC cart!

But I've never seen Devil World. Can anyone tell me why the hell I haven't?

not sure why you haven't seen one, I have seen several of them.  It does exist in 72 pin form, and is a PAL exclusive, and comes only in small box form.  It is fairly rare, but not crazy or anything.  50-75 bucks usually.

I've got it (loose), but not for sale if that's why you want a pm.

I know Dain has one also.  Quite a few people have them. I figure jajaja, nesaholic, and Speedy prob all have it too.

wow a CIB copy, very impressive and hard to find.  I dread having to find this CIB, hardly ever shows up.

Good guess, but I'd actaually love a nice high res scan of the label.  I bought the famicom version of the game, unsoldered the roms, and transplanted them to a nes circuit board.  Now I want to make a US label...  :)

Since I transplanted the roms, it's not a reproduction.  It doesn't have one of the famicom converters inside either, so it really looks like a real US "devil's world" if you're not reading what it says on the roms...  :)

edit:  no code?  well you can get the two letter part of the code from the chips...

I dont have my scanner connected nor installed so i cant scan it atm, sorry :\
The box says: NESE-P-DD, so if the game would get a code it would be NES-DD-EEC and probly later on NES-DD-SCN :)

I saw a copy of it being sold somewhere on the net. Don't remember where right now at the moment. You really got to keep an eye out for it on ebay as it doesn't show up often but more than Rodland or Gimmick. Finding it CIB is going to be tough though :-/

Heck, there are two Gimmicks up right now -- but no Devil World.

That's true but in the past couple of months only a few Gimmicks have hit the bay while I've seen several Devil Worlds.
