i guess we all have this.  i remember in college, this wierdo chick i was friends with gave me a box of nes games and it had rainbows islands, and dk jr. among other commons.  i didnt realize that rainbow islands was semi-sought after until i graduated and became a collector.

Metal Gear - my brother & I saw this in a friend's room who didn't have a Nintendo anymore, so he gave it to us.  Soon after we got into it, Metal Gear Solid came into fame.  Funny how that went.

These were the same people we got our two NES Zeldas from - & it was the first time I ever played Zelda. :-? Weird, I can actually remember the first time I saw Zelda.

Ah memories.

A friend once gave me about 20 or so games for free.  None were rare or valuable, but how can you complain when they're free?  I did get Mega Man 2 which I played frequently.

My friend just gave me a Rescue Rangers 2 cart.  That's a pretty good one.

The only think i can remember i got for free is some Action Replay for SNES.

I never got a game for free, but a friend recently gave me the " Offizielle Nintendo Entertainment System Spieleberater". Pretty cool guide with a lot of maps and hints in it.

Mine is Shatterhand but i wouldn't say i got it for free because it's a game i borrowed from a friend about 10 years ago  ;D

Oh, in that case MegaMan 2.  I even told my friend about it, but he said it was okay.

I got Faxanadu from a friend of mine about 10 years ago, i totally love the game and since i did he gave it to me. Mega great of him, later i got quite some good stuff from him for cheap cause he stopped collecting.
