I got two copies of bible adventures for a dollar today from a thrift store.  Black versions...I've seen a light blue one before, which is rarer?  

They are about the same for this game.  Most black carts are more rare, but this game is common as dirt.  Which versions did you get?  It shows them on the title screen of the game.  There are about 10+ variants for this game.

hm, i have no clue, i don't have a working NES to test em on as of right now :(  i fig'd it was common, but for 50 cents each, i thought, what the hell.  

:-? ah..That is a great deal on them for sure.  They are worth about 5-6 each, so you came out way ahead.  Now get yourself a NES so you can play them bad boys  ;)

i did get another cool thingy tho

its a pirate famicom shaped like an n64 controller, has a cartridge slot on the back, and an extra controller you plug into it...cost me only a dollar!  has about 500 games (mostly repeats) but it does have tengen tetris on it ftw! :D  and some other weird japanese games.  haven't had time to go thru it all, but its pretty neat.
