guys help me out here !

I just bought a 4in1 cartridge fore 10 euro

its the 4 quattro adventure with dizzy,boomerang kid,robin hood and spacehead

I can put it in the nes with position a or b and it plays perfect,until i select a game and press start to begin, the screen is good fore 5 seconds and then it runs up and down!

Most games that are brokken dont work at all but now iget a codemasters screen and i can select a game and then it goes wrong


So,IS IT BroKEN :'(

I'm not positive but you might have a lockout chip in your NES try using a toploader that should fix it or dissconnect the lockout chip (not sure how) I would just get a toploader.

Have you tried a different TV set?  That "runs up and down" stuff kind of sounds like what you'd get if your vertical hold was screwed up...

Do you mean that the game glitches up, or the picture rolls up, or what?

Although, the fact that you can play it in either position kind of makes me think that your lockout chip might be messed up, as noted above.  Or, more likely, the little "lockout chip defeater" inside the cart might not be working.  Try a toploader.

Have you tried the game on your Retrocon  :o  ;)
