My name is Mikael (AKA Gamegenie), and I come from Sweden.
I have had "some" luck and I now have some NES prototypes in my possession. (They are all unused and have as far as I can tell never even been inserted in a NES).

The lot contains the following games:

Yeah i was wondering the same, i PM'd but haven't heard yet.
Mostly looking for beta's instead of finals though.

Some of them were just empty circuit boards without the actual EPROM that makes it a prototype game. (Se picture).

Oh yeah i see now, dev cart. I have one of these also. I think Michael the Great would love to have these since he collects boards.

Btw: Are Darkwing Duck and Ducktales 2 final or beta?

Im pretty sure they are final. I've seen these protos with the exact same label on the back before and those were the final version afaik. The boards only have 1 EPROM chip. Take pictures anyway, always cool to see :)

One of my Capcom protos has a red label like that too, but was very different from released. It was either flying warriors, snow bros or tail spin. I can't remember which, but they all had differences.

Oh ok. Do you remember how the board looked like?

I'm pretty sure they were all on eprom boards.

Please post internal pics of the snes protos.  I seem to remember a higher precentage of roms used in snes sample carts (instead of eproms).  Since many of them say final, I'd like to see how many (or all) are actually on proto boards with eproms.  I also don't know if the ones that say rom mean than they have roms or if it's just the term used meaning the game.

Just curious who made the big offer for the SNES stuff? I'm VERY interested in a couple of them. Please contact me.

Knowing CV4E he would snatch them all since he's more of a SNES collector then NES collector.

Its just me who havnt heard about the deal so i totaly missed something here hehe. Thats why i asked if anything was sold because i cant see anything about a deal in this topic.

I know C4E already have some of these protos so there will be some left atleast, unless he wants doubles tho. I just hope some of those are of interest hehe :)

Is it a kioskdemo or just a regular SFC-cart?

That cart is just how the retail version of the SFC game looks. My guess is that this game was out in Japan first and they just used one of the retail cases to store the english version. I've seen it before with NES games, like Punch-Out and Balloon Fight proto that was sent to Europe. They got USA retail case.

Also snes samples sometimes were production roms!  Here is a recent example from someone on dp:

The first one is a prototype, but the earthbound and the secret of mana are samples and not really prototypes.  In the nes era there was no differentiation other than a title on the case to say whether something was a sample or a prototype.  With snes, samples used production boards and roms and aren't really prototypes.

These pictures are not from gamegenie's stuff and I don't mean to put down his stuff.  

But for example:  since gamegenie's earthbound says rom and nstc final, it is quite possibly the north american roms on a production circuit board given away as a sample...  ;)

I talked to cv4e yesterday and he bought aslmost all prototypes, only a few like pacman are left.
Game Genie can you give us the exact titles you still got so we can check if there's still any interest in purchasing these.
