AHHHHHHH!!!!!! Man i am so happy today!!!! i finally finally finally COMPLETED my copy of Flintstones surprise at dinosaur Peak and i just had to share the joy with my fellow collector buddies!! Well after being stranded with a mint box and cart for about 2 years i finally tracked down a manual and was able to TRADE FOR IT! Yep the guy who owned this sweet manual decided to trade it and hooked me up!!!

Congrats man :D  I am jealous, I still have to find a box and manaul for mine.  I dread having to pay the insane prices just to CIB my high end games.  Has to be done though..

thanks NGD! Yea this game is in the top 3 of the rarest games i own and it was the only one out of the three that was NOT complete. the other two being caltron and BB2. so im thrilled to have the trio complete :-)

I don't have any of those 3 complete :'( you suck :P  Those 3 will probably be some of the last boxes and manuals I get, not counting Myriad and SE of course, cause I doubt I will ever own those.

yea its pretty minty. congrats on your BB2 thats a steal. i lucked out and got mine in a huge trade i did a couple years ago. ended up gettting like 30 of some of the rarest CIB games including caltron BB2, and many more. for an xbox, Ps2, and Gba SP.

what do you guys think is a good price for flintstones box only?? i found one but i think the price is a little much.

I would have to disagree.  The cart seems to go for right around $100 and sometimes up into the $120 range if there is any kind of a bid war going on.  The last cart + box on ebay brought a little over $300.00 and didn't have the manual.  I would tend to think that was a bit high considering the last cib brought about $360 but even so, I would say the box alone is worth $120-$130.  And considering there hasnt been one for sale recently it wouldn't surprise me to see it push up to $150 on ebay right now.

At any rate, congrats on completing your F2 parpunk and good find on the manual.  That thing is definatly a bitch to find.

I agree with justabum. I think it is worth around 120-130 bucks in today market.  But since there hasn't been many listed lately, it could easliy bring more.

Wow, that's one hell of a deal for a F2 manual.  It looks to be in minty condition too.  Do you mind if I ask where did you made this trade?  That's probably the mintiest CIB F2 I have ever seen.  Congrats on the great find.

Also, I think the box alone could easily bring in $140-$150 right now. This is one of the top boxes collector's need and will dish out the money if need be especially since they rarely ever show up but once or twice a year.

Id love to let ya know where i got the manual from but unfortunately ill have to hold out just a little bit longer. lol it appears he has like 500 manuals that i need so im gonna work on getting some stuff i need off him then hes all yours!  :D But for now i might be doing some more trades with the fella. But anyways i originally got the box and cart from a kid i was friends with at TGN called scubasteve but he got it from the same guy i got my BB2 and caltron and all 30+ other games from. He just happened to get Flintstones off the guy at gametz right before i did a huge deal for everything. But i knew he got it and tracked it down. and i believe i traded him a genesis model 3 and some games for the Flinstones box and game :-) But the guy i got everything from and who originally had this flintstones was a guy at gametz called nesguy123. he got out of collecting and traded away his rarest 40 games all CIB for the new gen systems at the time (xbox, Ps2, gba SP). i ended up pulling out of the deal caltron 6 in 1 CIB, Bubble Bobble 2 CIB, panic restraunt CIB secret scout black CIB, all mega mans CIB, action 52 CIB, little samson CIB, mermaids of atlantis CIB, tengen tetris CIB, menace beach CIB, DW 4 with box, mario is missing CIB, game action replay, and many more CIB games. it was by far the best trade i have EVER did. Best socre ever :-) but you gotta keep in mind this was like 3 years ago, things werent necessarily as rare and crazy priced as they are now. so im realy glad i acted when i did.

Dang man! That was one heck of a trade! You definitely came out on top with that! Bet that guy is kicking himself right now realizing the money he lost out on all that stuff o.O How I wish I could just go back in time a few years and hit a few good trades like that :(

Im glad to see another member here Complete there Flintstones 2..I was in your same shoes at one time. I got a cart and box only, then scored a manual later on. I got my Flintstones 2 manual for $30. I had to find a menace beach box for it. Found one the same day for $30. I was so happy to put that manual in the box..

I also have a few of the other CIB games your looking for. Myriad 6 in 1, BBP2, and menace beach.

i already have BBp2 CIb and menace beach CIB, but man that myramid is going to be impossible for me to get. seeing as i really dont wanna have to spend more than $500.00 for it, but i know i would have to if i ever wanna get it one day. but by the end of all this i believe i will have every game made except that one lol.

talked the guy down to $150+ bonks adventure for the flintstones box. i want the box but this is just asking alot

yea that is some serious dough for a box. is it in great shape at least??? i honestly think the manual is tougher to get than the box. most of the time i see this game sell with the box more than the manual. i guess since it was a rental, most rental places probably sold it with the display box on the shelf and the manual was long gone. either stolen, lost, or destroyed. i saw hounder sell a manual for $150.00 so if that makes ya feel any better lol :-)

yea i can get the box for $150 and its pretty close to mint. a couple of small blimishes. just alot for the box. dont know if i should do it or not

unless you get ulta lucky a complete fs2 sells for arond 325.00 to 350.00 seeing the cart goes for around 100.00  you could say the manual and box are woth 250.00
