Holy cow man i was watching that same auction for the last 3 days and i was gonna drop a bid on it. but then i ended up forgetting about it. im glad i didnt sit there and watch it though i was only gonna bid $25.00 on it lol. although i had no idea what it was worth but i say eh, that seems like a fair deal. think about it............ final fantasy normally goes for that complete and might and magic is much rarer than that game. man i need to find one though cart only :-(. lol anyways good win man! it is pretty minty!!!

Probably a bit more than I would be willing to pay for a complete copy but it is in nice condition especially that map. Congrats man.

Also a tad more than I would have paid, but it is in great shape. Funny thing is that I had 2 boxes and 1 manual for this game in my trade thread for weeks. I just traded the last box away to Michiganfan2 yesterday in fact.

>:( RAREGAMERGIRL IS EVIL!!! SHE ALWAYS OUTBIDS ME ON EVERYTHING!!!IN THE PAST 3 WEEKS I'VE OUTBID BY HERE SEVERAL TIMES AND GOT PRETTY PO'ED. SHE USES A SNIPER TO GET ALL THE BIG LOTS OF CIB GAMES I NOTICED.

So by her own statement, she's a reseller? Am I understanding this?

I buy lots of complete games, keep what I want and resell the extras, which generally is not much of anything left over. I have ONE might and magic complete and minty (bought a copy with cart and box, already had map and manual). i think this was a great price for it complete with the hint book, its worth that much complete without the hint book.

I would've paid $40 CIB myself, maybe a bit more because of the condition, but that hint book...damn dude, that's a steal!

lol u must bid higher then ;) I know how it is tho, used to be outbid by a guy from Sweden. Sux indeed and you get alittle pissed off, but everyone are entitled to bid whatever they want. |

;D I don't know how I missed that post...so I'll reply to him...Alot of people use snipers to win items, not just raregamergirl. Try bidding what you think the lot of CIB games is worth as opposed to what you figure will make you money. I'd love to get 20 CIB games for $30 or something, but it likely wouldn't sell for less than $100, and depending on the titles it could be worth much, much more. I get outbid on items all the time, but by placing a bid at my maximum price, as opposed to just a cheap bid, I can look at the auction and say "oh well" instead of getting pissed off. |

i got the game in today and boy was i disappointed. the box had been crushed and torn. the instruction booklet was folded and torn to hell. and the map had something spilt on the back of it. what makes it so bad is that i paid to much for this and i expected it to be in perfect condition like the picture made it out to be.............bummer :(

Title: Re: Might & Magic Post by Nistle on 11. Oct 2006 at 00:08
yea i asked for a partial refund. this is just not worth it for the money i paid for this game.

Congrats man, the game is hard to come by in this condition. A bit on the high end but if you really wanted it it's totally worth it.

Title: Re: Might & Magic Post by Hounder on 11. Oct 2006 at 18:07
I think that since you got $20 back that it was worth it. I would have been ticked too.
