Believe it or not, but I came across a Famiclone of the AV Famicom -- in black!

Dang that's really neat. I always see clones of the HVC-001 but never of HVC 101. I assume your looking to obtain it or already did, since there's no link. I see a cart stuffed in there. I wonder what's on it and what the label looks like.

Yeah, this is also the first time I came across one looking like this, and given the text on the box, I assume it's from an Asian region. I like the black look, and the gun also looks nice...let's hope it's of at least decent quality. Unfortunately, I don't think it will have NES connectors like the HVC-101, but I guess I'll find out soon enough.

I did already obtain (win) it, but didn't want to post the link until it's in my hands. I could've waited with posting about it until it's in my hands, but it's a hard to find auction anyway ;)

The auction only stated that a game was included, so I don't know what's on the cart, but I assume a multi, hopefully with some special games.

I had it shipped to my parents in Germany as I will be visiting them in about a week from now, so I'll let you know once I'm there ;)

Hmm, I replied to this earlier, but it didn't seem to have registered the post.

Anyway, the cart is apparently a 50-in-1 with a cool label, but I don't know what's on it as I couldn't get the famiclone to work (likely due to the Asian AC adapter...it did fit into the European electricity socket, but I suppose it may not be compatible). I'll try out the game with a different famiclone or converter when I'm back home (most likely mid-December). Let's hope it has some interesting games on it ;)

Well, I may make a quick stop at home next weekend, so then I'll be able to check out the cart a bit earlier than mid-December :p

Nice snag, the gun looks mega cool. From the front it also has a bit of a toploader look but then a black one, very cool. 8-)

Thanks, I also like the gun, but it's a typical light weight Famiclone piece ;)

Yeah, it's a replica of the Famicom toploader (which is flat on the top unlike the NES toploader) :)
