The Grand Theftendo page is down right now. This isn't a good sign. Not only has it been in development FOREVER but now the site is down. I love homebrew games like this but unfortunately more times than not they just never get finished (especially games that are questionable for copyright infringement). Any ideas what's going on with this?

If anyone knows him they should contact him and let us know what he says. I hope Rockstar didn't crack down on him or something gay.

Rockstar might have been hassling him recently, as this shows up on the software tab:

[00:12] / me says when it's done, the tools will be released including NESHLA, the NES High Level Assembler

My guess will probably be that we won't hear much else about it until he's done. I can envision R* sent him a cease and desist letter regarding the grandtheftendo website. I sure hope he still finishes it and releases it anyway.

Rockstar doesn't strike me as the kind of company that would sue over this kind of issue.

He has already released NESHLA so I would assume that that's old
