Title: rob in box Post by coinheaven on 13. Nov 2006 at 17:09
i saw one of the these at a thrift store near me:
http://cgi.ebay.com/DELUXE-SET-NES-NINTENDO-ROB-THE-ROBOT-IN-BOX-LN_W0QQitemZ220041493052QQihZ012QQcategoryZ62054QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem they wanted 40 bucks, but it only had the rob, no system, games or controllers. is it worth that much? i have extra stuff to fill it up, but 40 seems kind of steep. |

hi, new(er) on this forum, spend most of my time at the dp forums...
I had a stroke of luck in finding a rob complete in box without the nes at a goodwill just yesterday (you're not in SF are you?) for 15.99. I asked them if they'd go down because the nes wasn't included, and they took off three bucks. You can find them on ebay for around 150-180 CIB. So yes, if you throw a nes in the box and complete it i'm sure you'll make your money back and then some. I'm keeping mine, It's been one of my collecting goals to find a rob deluxe set in the wild! |

yea, it was behind the counter and i told the lady it didnt have the system, and then she seemed kind of concerned, like the people in the back should have priced it lower. maybe i will stop back later this week and see if they lower the price, but by then it'll probably be gone.

You better pick it up, they usually hit more then $150. You can add a console to it later to complete it. The box goes for at least $30 or sometimes more, get back there asap.

Sweet! How much did you pay for it in the end?
I think you should change that yellow sunfaded controller to a better looking one, the overall impression of the package could be drawn down. Great find! |
