I own an NEX which plays both NES games and Famicom games.  I am not familiar with famicom games at all though.  I would like to collect only the best of the famicom games.  Not sure if famicom games has RPG games like NES does but I DONT LIKE THOSE TYPE OF GAMES, they ruin the fun cuz it requires too much thinking and strategizing.  So no RPG like famicom games for me.

So, it would be great if you can name the top famicom games that has the caliber and popularity that contra has for the NES: from shooting games whether it be vertical/side scroller, to the best single player games, best double player games, best sport games, best fighting games, best racing games, etc.. .

I hate RPGs as well, but Famicom RPGs are usually impossible even if you like them. Why? Because you often need to know Japanese to play them.
