A friend of mine that I know over the internet, who is also a NES collector, informed me that he saw an Airball prototype at a flea market in Thomasville, PA, but the guy wanted $575 for it. But based on some of the other games this guy was selling, including Zelda Outlands, Sunman, Earthbound, and Final Fantasy 2, he thinks it could possibly be a reproduction. Does anybody know somebody who owns a store called D&D Gameworld and lives in the Pennsylvania area?

Very interesting :o I would also think repro, but I always heard this game wasn't reproable as we discussed in a different thread a few months back. I have never heard of that store, but I do live many states away. I know some peeps in PA, I will see if I can find anything out....prob won't though :-/

Dang reproductions popping up already? If he sells all those other games then surely it would be a repro. Also $575 is an insane price for it but i think everyone agrees on that.

I know nothing much about the technical stuf on repros, but I have an airball repro....so it can't be too tough to come by.

I got mine on ebay not long ago...the auction just mentioned in the previous post. Although someone else won the auction, I was sent a SECOND CHANCE OFFER for the cart at a lower price. I accepted. But at least two carts were sold, becuse the actual winner of that auction also left feedback saying he recieved his AIRBALL cart also. It is my assumption that the seller has one of those magic MAKE A NES REPRO machines. So AIRBALL should be pretty easy to find now.....I think.

Well, somebody has definitely found a way to reproduce them. I think it's only a matter of time before the ROMs leak to the internet and you can special order them from repro sites.

I always thought it was unreproducable too. After seeing the circuit board on a couple of the actual protos, it's intirely possible. There are no custom chips on the board (other than tengen's copy of the CIC). In fact the circuit board is strangely similar to one of Nintendo's circuit boards... :)
