Title: Widar's finds Post by Widar on 15. Nov 2006 at 17:36
Caught this auction in the end and couldn't resist from grabbing it.
The leftout of Ultimate and NES in the auction title could've been stopping it from getting more views. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=015&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&viewitem=&item=250047533921&rd=1&rd=1 Dunno if it's worth anything, what do you think? Cheers, |

Nice snag, under 5 it's always worthy to buy. It's not mega hyper terror uncommon but good deal you got there. ;)

Dunno the "real" price, but i can tell you that this is damn cheap! :) The game is also very cool to play imo.

The NTSC version seems to be more rare the the PAL and Aussie versions. I see them very often on AUS ebay. Our version seems to bring in more money. Still a good find for a CIB game :)

Another damn sweet find this week!
Talked a bit to NESaholic over MSN yesterday and he told me about this megacool multicart called Super Mario Family that has all the Mario games including SMB2J on it. So to make a long story short I did a quick search on ebay, found one and got it BIN for 20 Euro. :D http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/super-mario-family_W0QQitemZ200048322657QQihZ010QQcategoryZ8168QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Finally i get to play SMB2J the way it deserves! And a bit cheaper than getting a famicom, disc and SMB2J... :) /Widar - one happy fella |

Ha! I saw you went and bought one. Good going, it has great games on it and always a good add to the collection. One of the greatest pirates there is. ;)

This week is looking good for me.
CIB HES Maxi 15 Pack. 14.95 AUD ~9 Euro. I love the print on the back of the manual! :D |

Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by NESaholic on 19. Nov 2006 at 13:42
Nice scores man good going, you got quite some good stuff for cheap there. ;)

|
Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by NationalGameDepot on 20. Nov 2006 at 04:21
I saw that Maxi for sale and nearly bought it myself. But I wanted one in a little better condition. I am not in that big a hurry on the HES stuff anyway, I am over halfway there to having one copy of them all anyway.

Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by Widar on 20. Nov 2006 at 09:01
NGD, thanks for leaving it for me to grab. :)
Got a sealed Quattro Arcade last night as well; http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=330049559305&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=014 This is my first sealed NES game and I'll open it as soon as i get it. |
|
Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by the_wizard_666 on 20. Nov 2006 at 13:32
When you do, send me a list of the game contents. There's probably no item numbers on the goodies (unlicenced games are good like that), so even a picture will do if everything is clearly visible. I'm making a list of game contents from every sealed game that I can get opened, and there's no way I can do that all myself.
|
|
Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by Widar on 21. Nov 2006 at 08:30
Wiz: Off course! I'll take pictures of the contents and get them to you. How many games to you have on that list?
I promised myself to stop grabbing NES stuff now cause way to much coming up with xmas and all but... Another cheap grab yesterday, Tetris 2 CIB; http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290050395619&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=019 Cheers, |

Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by the_wizard_666 on 22. Nov 2006 at 01:46
Right now, only 5. Nobody seems to want to open sealed games. So far I have TMNT, Tiny Toons Cartoon Workshop, Dance Aerobics, Short Order/Eggsplode, and the black Micro Genius version of Baby Boomer. At least there's some semi-rare titles on there already, not just a stack of commons :P
EDIT: Also, for anyone else who's interested in making a contribution to the list, if you open a game already on the list, submit it to me anyway. Different print runs may have had different inserts, and there's the * manual variants and stuff to consider as well. The only way I won't use it is if the contents are identical to one of the ones on the list already. If even the Nintendo Power insert is different, it'll get a separate listing, and you'll get credit :) |

Wow man those are some pretty good scores and friggin' cheap. Congrats on the Snow Bros. man, it's such a cool game. Too bad they didn't make a trilogy or something for this great game.

I finally got my 2 HES games from that seller yesterday. I didn't thing the transaction was ever going to happen though, he was so bad at answering emails.
If you get it working, let me know I may snag it off you. If you don't get it working I will take it for super cheap and try my luck with it :P ~~NGD |

Title: Re: Widar's finds Post by NationalGameDepot on 28. Feb 2007 at 00:30
I was watching them as well. There have been some good HES games on lately, but they have all been loose. In the last month I have seen most the remaining HES games I need, none CIB. RBI Baseball, Toobin, Magexa Soccer, and Pyramid.
