Title: NES console and game price guide? Post by NES_Deluxe_Set on 23. Jan 2007 at 17:57
Can someone please direct me to a reliable online NES console and game price guide? I've seen a few, but they are old and outdated. The most current thing I could find is a list of what's common and rare. Absolutely no information on what the games and such are actually worth. :-/

I do not know of any accurate price guides. The only accurate rarity guide I've ever come across is at www.NintendoAGE.com. If you search for a game it will give you an accurate rarity rating (1-10) for the game, box, and manual. I hate how many people use Mike Etler's list because it is so outdated and inaccurate!
eBay.com pretty much commands the value of NES games these days. So if you're looking for the value of a single game I'd check the completed listings there. Unfortunately there are no rarity/pricing guides that I know of that are condensed and ready to be printed out. |

What makes the nintendoAGE list so accurate? Did whoever made it have information about game production run numbers or something? Or is was it just compiled through being in the scene, knowing what is harder to get and making educated guesses? |

Something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it ....you can see on ebay what people are willing to pay for them.though i HATE ebay shipping..

I can tell you this much. All of the sources are wrong when they say Zelda and Zelda II gold cartridge games are very common. Loose yes, but they are nearly impossible to find FACTORY SEALED! ;)

NintendoAGE is Dain's site, and me and about 4 other hardcore collectors are the ones who have filled in all the info. It is pretty accurate cause it is being built as we speak.
Zelda sealed isn't hard to find at all, you just have to pay a lot for it because it is popular. There is almost always one on ebay. I know one collector who has 10 Zelda's sealed right now in minty sealed condition. ~~NGD [edit] :D 3000th post!!! w00t w00t :D[/edit] |

Any game is hard to find factory sealed. When dealing with factory sealed games Zelda is one of the easiest to find. People will still pay a shitton for it though because it is highly desired.

I didn't realize it was that common FACTORY SEALED. I probably got ripped off bad. I paid $343.29 by the time shipping an insurance was included. :'( It was worth it to me to have it brand new though. (sentimental reasons.)
