Title: NES_Deluxe_Set / Personal Collection Thread!
Post by NES_Deluxe_Set on 24. Jan 2007 at 06:16
I've decided to make my own personal NES collection thread. I don't have much, but what I do have is priceless to me!

I choose to make every Nintendo players and Zelda fans dream a reality. Anyone who knows me is aware of what an old-school Nintendo and Zelda fan I am. I've been a Nintendo player for over 20 years and a true Zelda fan since 1987. My most precious memories in life are playing NES and Zelda as a kid. With that in mind, I decided to make an investment that would express my true love for Nintendo and The Legend of Zelda franchise. It cost me an arm and a leg, but is worth every penny to me, as each of these items are priceless in my eyes.

I bought a  NES Deluxe Set with R.O.B. in nearly new condition, complete with everything it originally came with, including the plastic it was wrapped in, super rare Duck Hunt and Gyromite games in boxes, manuals, posters, Nintendo's Official seal of approval card and everything!

I also bought an authentic, original, FACTORY SEALED, brand new, never opened, The Legend of Zelda game for NES! (Gold Cartridge) It has the  Official Nintendo exclusive, horizontal line on the back where the plastic seal seams together and even has the original plastic hanger! It's exactly the same as if you went to the stores in 1987 and bought it!

Then to top everything off I bought an authentic, original, FACTORY SEALED, brand new, never opened, Zelda II The Adventure of Link game for NES! (Gold Cartridge)

I used to have a NES Action Set and a huge game library. Regretfully I sold everything to a company called FUNCO Inc. when I was in high school. I would give anything to have all my stuff back now, as it was all in amazing condition. The only things I have left  from my original childhood is a copy of The Official Nintendo Players Guide, a Super Mario Bros. 2 t-shirt, a Zelda II The Adventure of Link t-shirt, Nintendo Power pin sent out exclusively to subscribers, a Mario figurine, and two stuffed Mario and Luigi dolls.

I'll be sure to update this thread if I aquire anymore awesome items!

In a Game History class, our teacher brought in a Deluxe Set in mint condition. It was pretty stupid seeing people dis something 20 years old that was a piece of shit to begin with (ROB).

Dude, that would be awesome! I'm flat broke after buying the above though. I had to pay so much because the only place I could find everything in that condition was from collectors on eBay.
