Are you talking about refreshing to bid on an auction, or are you talking about refreshing to see if anything new comes up? And I would think if the latter is what you are doing you would be looking for BIN deals?

When I was unemployed I once sat for 9 hours refreshing about every 10 mins looking for deals, and sadly I didn't find a one :'(

Just use a website watcher and put the link you want it to refresh in the program and it'll refresh its-self for you every minute. Of course you'll be getting hits to games you may not want but its better than using your fingers and having a sound alert you when the page is updated.

The only time I constantly hit refresh on eBay is if I'm sniping an auction. If you're talking about hitting refresh looking for new items to pop up, I have never done that.

Why the heck can't eBay just have a clock that counts down on auctions that are ending soon!?
