As many of you have known I have been working on a NES gamelist for over a year now.  It is finally done now finally, and ready to download for all to enjoy.  Please go to my site and pick which version you would like. The full version is huge, and has variant pics, and checkable boxes to track your collection.  The printer friendly version is about the same minus most of the pics and no check boxes, it is much smaller.

The list is over 100 pages of NES goodness with very little spacing.  It is in spreadsheet form in Microsoft Excel, so you will need Excel to view it.  I am sure it has some items that need to be fixed, but that is expected with any large document I suppose.  I look forward to comments and suggestions.

Go to www.nationalgamedepot.zoomshare.com to download both versions.  It will be available for download on several other NES sites, including NESworld soon.   :D

Oh and by the way as I was browsing the internet I came across a small article about your NES collecting along with burnambill. But I couldn't click on the link to see it. It was by MTV, I never knew that, why didn't you share that with everyone, where was I. Do you have to it, I wanna check it out.

just wanted to let people know that if they don't have microsoft office or access to it for the excel program, then they can download "openoffice" it's free and will open excel docs. 8-)

Great job! Any thoughts on adding maps, posters, etc? That would really help for people like me who have no clue what came with what. Some things are easy to figure out, others, not so much.

I do plan to add maps and lots of other stuff in the future, but I just wanted to get it released first.  I will never be "done" with it, but there will always be more to come....

Ah, that's a pretty thorough list you have there NGD! What baffled me though was to see my battery and zapper-icons being used :) I pixeled them up for a list of Scandinavian nes releases that I made myself a couple of years ago. No hard feelings or anything, but it would be interesting to hear where you got them from :)

I actually have no clue where they came from to be honest.  I think I found them on a yahoo picture search a long time ago.  Didn't mean to theive them or anything, but I didn't know who made them or anything.  Sorry  :P

I'm pretty sure that no 45 degree corner exists for Maxi 15.  I've opened up my copy and the PCB actually takes up the entire cart.  I can provide a pic if you need it.

Does Gyromite (US version) come in a 3 screw version?

The reason I ask is that some other 5 screw exclusives (Stack Up, DK Jr Math, etc..) are flagged as 5 screw only.   I known the Canadian version of Gyromite is available in 3 screw but I didnt know if its the same with the US one.

If you would have asked this a few weeks back I would have said no, but I have to day I don't know right now.  A few weeks back Braveheart69 found a non-hang tab boxes for Gyromite and Donkey Kong.  Which means, at least in principal that a 3 screw of each "should" exist. But I have never seen either one with my own eyes in cart form, not the -USA versions anyway.  Like you said, Gyro does indeed exist in -CAN format though.  It will be an absolute bitch to track them down though.

BTW--I have had nearly 300 people download the gamelist already, just off my zoomshare site.  That doesn't count all the other sites that are hosting it also.

Its a pretty damn good list :).  That also means theres at least 300 people out there who might be thinking about collecting variants.

The reason I was asking about the gyro, is that I am updating my black box want list so I can print it off and go looking for variants I dont have.   I "think" most black box games exist in 5 screw, 3 screw with no code, 3 screw with a code.  For both CAN and US.    Its going to take a lot of looking :)

There are shit loads of black box variants.  Several games have over 10 variants each if you really break them down.  With seals, TM, Made in Japan, hang tab, non hangtab, secruity screws, regular screws....goes on and on.

Look again, It's a Classic Serie! :)
On the list it only says "none" on ID number.

It says "Arcade" Classic Series on all the Popeyes I am pretty sure.  The Classic Serie games have a gold seal with a leprachan looking guy on them.  Correct me if I am wrong anyone.  I know the US version also says Classic Series on it as well.  I thought all Popeyes did.

The one you linked is the Euro Version (EEC).  NA is missing the scan for the -FRA one that you posted in this thread.   I will add your scan for the -FRA one this evening, so thanks for the scan :D

Yep the list is not ok, classic serie wise,popey is no classic serie and there is no blades of steel classic serie,got everything else,of the serie.

Jason, is there any way to autogenerate it based on the NA database?   It seems like its going to be a lot of time and effort when going to version 4.  
If you can autogenerate, you should get it printed and bound with all the pictures (unless thats copyright infringement).  I'd definitely get a copy.

Actually Al, there is indeed :) Me and Dain have a little something planned for the future if we can get the ball rolling.  I am still keeping all the info that gets sent to me in case that doesn't happen though.  Most of the stuff not on my list isn't in the NA database either so I will add it all as soon as the site comes of lockdown after the upgrade.  Lots of good stuff on the way.

I've come across 4 copies of Snow Bros, and 3 of them had trashed labels.  Now I know why.  There's something in the carts that attracts dogs so they use them as chew toys.

I think a lot of people here knew that allready, i also own a brand new CIB Pal A Version of The Trolls in Crazyland. And yes that is the NES-C5-ITA version.

But on some sites/ forums people think that it is a German only release, which isn't. Loose carts are easy to get but finding a complete copy is much rarer, i think even rarer then the Pal b version of the game.

Do you get a loose cart or a CIB copy?

Yeah, I knew this already as well.  PAL info has become more accesible since NA when live and it is easier to find info for stuff now.
