Title: 72 Pin Connectors Post by Jedi QuestMaster on 23. Feb 2007 at 22:31
Okay, I couldn't find the topic there was about this.
I'm looking to buy a lot of these, like 5 or 10. Is there a certain seller anyone recommends or does anyone have a bunch I can buy from? Thank you どうもありがとう |

I have some original 72 Pin connectors...ones that were made by Nintendo that have never been used. I might sell a few if you are interested.

Just wondering, did these extra pins come packaged with the system?
I'm wondering because if they did I don't think we ever kept ours. ;D Anyway, what's a good price for these? I think I bought one from Games Palace for about $5. |

These came from a former Service Center...Nintendo never sold the connectors to the general public. I don't know a good price for the ones they sell on ebay. I bought three a few years back and thought they were garbage...the things would have a ninja grip on my game. But if you're only looking to spend around 5-7$ per connector, your best bet is to get the aftermarket ones. |

my understanding is the after market ones are the ones with the ninja grip and the factory work just fine.never bought a new 72 though so maybe i misunderstand.

You are correct. I have had both. The new ones off ebay are craptastic in my book. You are better off cleaning your old ones really well and trying to bend the pins back. But if you can find ones like Limbofunk has GET them. The make you NES brand new, no kidding. I refrubished my g/f NES with a new one, and it works better than my top loader now.

The one I bought from Games Palace worked great. It's black just like the original, so I guess it could be the official ones.
How much should I expect to pay for those? |

I purchased 10 aftermarket ones from Games Palace. Used 8 so far, with no problems.
