Title: GET a LOAD of THIS! Post by mikeroach113 on 25. Feb 2007 at 07:56
Check it out:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqY83zJ-BGo&mode=related&search= Is a NES version of a BGM from the PS2 Contra game, and the video has a link to the website it's from which features NSF files of other stuff that wasn't on the NES. I found some Area 88 NSF files and I got NSF versions of some of the music from the arcade version of Strider (I always wondered how that would've sounded if the NES version had used that music, and was more like the arcade version). This has me REALLY excited! How the crappity smack do they make those???? Now there's a CRAP LOAD of other songs I'd like to hear in this way! How the crappity smack did they do that? I STILL can't get over this! NSF files I dream of: Speed Racer Theme Song Back To The Future theme (I mean the actual theme from the movies, not that crappy music in the NES games that were made!) "I'll Be Holding On" by Gregg Allman The Remo Williams theme The Green Hill Zone theme of the first Sonic The Hedgehog Music from the first Phantasy Star game The Police Academy theme "Valerie" by Steve Winwood Boy, I can't even think of anything else! Another thing that puzzles me is how NES music on NES games is made! |

It's nice to see a new NSF enthusiast, & hopefully future NSF sequencer. 2a03.org should have all the information you need, if not, try NESdev.
For me, I started doing things on the very buggy NerdTracker II. I basically stuck with that all the way through until the Windows-based FamiTracker was released. I have used it but haven't done any serious covers on it yet. |

I'm not new to NSFs! I've known what they are for quite a few years now! I am however new to these custom made ones.
