I usually store them in plastic ziploc bags.. What do think the best way to protect cartridges is?

I have all mine in dust sleeves and am working on having them all in boxes. I don't do anything else other than that though.

I keep mine on a shelf in dust sleeves, I need more sleeves though. Keeping them in plastic bags seems like one of the best ways to keep them, but I like to display them as well, so a dust sleeve is good enough for me.

Plastic storage cabinets you can pull out. 8-) They have wheels too so you can easily transport them - imagine that: some mofo walking along the sidewalk pushing a clear plastic Sterilite container with NES games. ;D

All my games are kept on a shelf, sitting on a long cut paper towell (instead of touching the painted wood). If a game is in MINT condition with all inserts then I shrink wrap it for protection. For more valuable boxed games I keep those in a box protector. 80% of games are simply boxed and sitting on a shelf.

I have all of mine in those rubbermaid containers that are made to slide under the bed. They are just tall enough to stand games up in.

That's a really cool cabinet you got there Gundam_Pilot_. It's the perfect size for storing NES games.

Right now I keep them in a box. I'm planning on building something similar to a library filing card cabinet to store all my video games, movies, and CDs.

Excuse my ignorance, but whats the point of storing the games in ziplock bags? Only thing i can think of is to protect it against dust, but other than that i dont see the point.

I put it all behind glass (for now that is), i have to figure out what i exactly want. I like the glass but i run out of space pretty fast.

Ye, but i've seen many people that uses ziplocks for boxed games. Those are already protecting against dust so whats the use? :) Just wondering.

I built cd-style towers for my games so that they can be displayed horizontally. that way it's much easier to make out the titles. the only problem with these is that they are a pain in the butt to make because there is an inch long dowel between each game on either side. if the dowels aren't lined up just right the games sit weird.

I'd love to have a glass case to display a sealed copy of SMB3. :)
