I just bought a dreamcast with one controllerfrom the pawn shop for 30 bucks.It came without a VMU.I also picked up jet grind radio and sega smashpack for 25.Was this a decent price to pay?

Also the DC seems to play perfectly but its noisey.....the cd motor is i guess.pluss is makes a ...scratchy sound, is this normal for a DC or should i return it?

Game recommendations are welcome also.He had Crazy taxi for $10 should i pick this up?Thanks.

I think that scratchy sound is normal on Dreamcasts. I know mine did the same when I had one. It's the think that moves the laser, moving back and forth, making that sound.

Congrats on the buy man. DC's always make alot of noise, i love mine though, i bought it pretty cheap and came in box.
