Nice article, thanks for posting it. I like it when people review their proto's, i really have to get my ass moving and make some. This proto has quite some differences, Johan must be pretty happy with it.

I remember when Johan (aka Van_Halen) bought this game back in 2005 :) He posted a topic over at DP asking if it was the real deal. It was listed on Ebay as mentioned, but he offered the seller to add a $350 BIN. And as you know, it was the real deal hehe. What i remember, DreamTR then told this was the 2nd or 3rd SMB2 proto thats been found.
