A dude at Famicom World posted about this possibility. I don't know anything about it, so I hope some of you can weigh in. I did a search at Nintendo AGE and didn't find IM2 looking like this.

Not a proto or anything special. Just a variant. The SEI version has both a color and black and white label. I have that very same cart and know at least 10 others who do as well. Worth about 10-12 bucks tops.

I think he meant the board ;) Kind of an odd board to be in a regular case with label. I would almost say it's a demo/proto board from first glance. Perhaps dreamTR or someone else would know more so.

I just opened mine up and it has the exact same board as mine. Still saying it is nothing but a variant gentlemen. :P

Ok :) I've never seen the inside of this cart before and I'm not sure why. lol Guess I need to make it a habit to open up my carts and see what's on the inside :P

I opened some of my HES games too and i've seen EPROMS in them. Still they are retail. Dunno why they used EPROMS in some games.
