Title: What's the difference and what's rarer?
Post by FierceFoxx on 25. Apr 2007 at 00:30
I see that there are two different boxes and catrigde arts for Metroid. One is the classic series and other is orginal. What is the difference between the two and which is rarer? And do they play the exact same game? Thanks. =)

They are the same game.  I don't know about the rest of the world (I'm sure someone here knows the actual production numbers), but in my experience the "Classic Series" is a little harder to find.

Thanks, and any idea what other games come in Classic Series boxes also?

Zelda, Zelda II, Punch Out, and metroid were the only games in the nintendo classics series; blades of steel was a separate konami "classic series" of which blades was the only release. for all these titles, the classics series release was rarer than the originals. all of them are the same game with the exception of Punch Out.
