I recieved a message from paypal today saying there were doind routine security checks on accounts. When I clicked on the link it directed me to the paypal website, it then asks you to log and and verify your credit card.
I called paypal and they said this is a spoof email and they did not send it.

So look for this just another scum bag trying to steal our hard earned dough

yea i get them all the time.  all of those verification emails are fakes.  i actually was duped by a clever ebay one asking me if i wanted to be in the power seller program.  so i put in my password and stuff.  a day later they were selling cars and tvs under my name.  it was a pain to get that straightened out.
