I own Sudoku Prototype 1.
I gave Sudoku Prototype 2 to Jumpman Jr. I guess that not suh a big deal since I wrote the game. Proto 1 has a lot of bugs (at least 6 or 7 fixed prior to Prototype 2). Proto 2 probably has about 4 bugs that were fixed before the cart were produced. Al |

I have 5 prototypes: Terminator 2 Judgement Day Lolo 3 Freedom Force Yo Noid! MidiNES proto (one of a kind) I don't care to much about protos really, but I snag em when they are cheap. I also have Dragon Wars ROMs for what that is worth. ~~NGD |

Robocop has quite a few differences, including a different ending.
Hero Quest is a lot different form the current ROM on the net. I was told Three Stooges had a subtle difference, but I can't find it. The others seem to be the final versions. |

I'm going to guess some of those name changes in that FF prototype were due to potential copyright issues with TSR and such. What was eventually called the 'Wizard,' for example, is a clear rip-off of the mindflayer character. Pretty cool overall.

had some great offers on them,but im not interrested in money. I mean finding these was a great experience :) You can buy prototypes from other members like i did with flintstones and escape from atlantis But finding them in the wild is a real HIGH moment There so cool also most people wanted my mystical ninja proto,that is actualy numbered? there is handwritting on there with 18/25 they made 25 prototypes :-? The beetle racing proto has a lot of info on it not normal But my favorite is tonic trouble,i dont have this game but i can tell is different then the actual release because its terrible buggy ;D unless the game is released that way |

Well, about the only stuff I own of the prototype variety:
Stadium Events (not the one we all know, love, and would love to have...it was from yemtrader's run of reproductions...not really a proto in the traditional sense :P ) Super Turrican NTSC (had two of these, but I traded one to that one prototype uber-collector...DreamTR or something like that :P ) Ninja Gaiden III review cart Darkman NTSC (final) Nothing too fancy, eh? |

not sure if they are protos or magazine prereleases or something similar but i have the HES game sidewinder in a sachen case. different intro (asian title) and music. the rest of the game seems the same, im pretty sure it doesnt work on a normal unmodded NES.
donald duck on megadrive, not sure about this one. never worked on any of my systems but for some reasons works on my gfs one. no idea why the cart is slightly different, no sega or manufacturers stamp and when played it goes straight to the game no intro or anything. i think it may just be a crappy pirate. both of these i found while flea marketing with my mum some years ago, i dont buy stuff off ebay just snag a game here or there with loose change, its more fun. |

As a matter of fact I just got it up and working with a little solder work. I dont know why i cared but I figured it was about time to get it working
However something makes me wonder about this proto. For the company name it says "Pony" Is that Pony Canyon Inc? And if so does that mean anything whatsoever affecting its worth? Here are some pics. |
