Well I have been unemployed for too long and with no success of finding a job for about 6 or so months now. (no one seemed to want to hire me for some reason).

I have finally got a job, not just one but two plus another interview, so I may drop one for another. Since I have been unemployed for too long I'm gonna work 2 full-time jobs to get my funds going again. So sorry to say in a week or so I most likely will not have time to come on here, I'll try to make some time but will see. Wish me luck  ;D

It's going to suck working all the time.  I've never had two full-time jobs but full-time classes + a job is busy enough! :o

I had 2 full time jobs and 1 part time/temp job at one point last year.  Not worth the stress, strain, and sleep deprivation.  Went back to a single full time job and selling eBay stuff on the side.  Good luck--you'll need it!

Thanks everyone for the comments. I know having 2 jobs is gonna suck, but I drained my accounts pretty bad, and I sold of bunch of my stuff on ebay. I'm gonna hate it but I'm gonna try to hold onto them for most of summer then drop one.

The jobs are a mechanic at some big local garage, then a graveyard shift at the casino as a porter, not sure exactly what that is but it deals with the restaurants. I'm ready and willing,

I just got to be unemployed as of Tuesday of this week.  I filed my unemployment paper on Wed.  I am already dreading having to look for a job again. blah :-/

I was on unemployment once, but the job that laid me off said that I quit and there was a big hassle for me to get my money so I don't even bother with that. trust me NGD I know how hard it can be to find a job, well in NY that is, I hate this state.

I used to be a porter at Holiday Inn.  It basically consists of you delivering food to rooms (ie: room service).  You get tips and stuff which is nice.

that's a lot of work but I'm sure you know what you're doing.  Good luck with everything I hope it works out for you.

congrats on the jobs.  When your tired and worn out from working two full time jobs just keep reminding yourself of all the NES stuff you will be able to buy.  :)

I dislike job hunting. I got my first job 6 months ago, as a cashier/bookkeeper at an import store. I'm still there, making minimum wage. I should be getting a raise soon, though.

yeah thanks everyone. Bum you are right I do tell myself that, and how bad I wanna get a new car, nothing is wrong with mine except its so slow, a pathetic 1.5 liter mirage. I wanna get a Jetta ;D and instead of putting a PS2 in it, you know me I'm gonna go old school, who has an NES in there car.

well, after going to some promising interviews my current boss offered me full time and a nice raise.  i'm excited!

Your pretty lucky Mel, considering what you did.  But thats great to hear, A raise is always appreciated.
