Title: Experts: Please Help! Need to know if authentic!
Post by FierceFoxx on 06. May 2007 at 20:17
Hey, I'm not the best at deciding if a game is authenticly factory sealed or not. I always doubt the seller cause I have been tricked out of lots of money before. So I'm gonna ask you guys. Please respond with truthful answers. And thanks once again. The link is below, it's of a Super Mario Bros original copy sealed, but the horizontal seam looks to perfect? Idk, could anyone help me out?

100% real.  That is Bronty selling it.  He is the sealed king of the NES community.  All his stuff is top notch.

I don't think it looks 'too perfect' - it dips, curves and wrinkles in all the right places, seems to me. Well of course it does, it's a real seal, but I'm just wondering if you're equating 'too mint' with 'too perfect'? I can see how someone would want an additional photo with the perpendicular seam intersection being covered by the price tag though, that would seem shady to me if it weren't Dan's auction :)

Looks like what you can take with even a cheapie 1 megapixel camera and good lighting. He hosts his offsite and uses HTML to reference them, no need to pay for eBay supersize/multiple pics if you have a good fast image host that won't crash with multiple pagehits on big images like this.
