Title: Multi System Famicom Thing
Post by Stan Stepanic on 23. May 2007 at 21:09
Okay, can't remember if I asked about this before.  About two years ago, around Christmas time, this little stand was set up in the mall where I live with this guy selling all these boxed little pirate console things that featured an assload of Famicom titles and NES releases.  I can't remember for the life of me what the damn thing was called and if anyone has a clue help me out.  It had the best variety of Famicom originals I've ever seen including Door Door, Nuts and Milk, Dog Town and a ton of other weird ones.  They sold for like 50 bucks each, thus why I didn't nab it at the time, and I seem to recall it may have simply been a controller that plugged into the TV, perhaps one that resembled a Playstation controller or Dreamcast controller, though I doubt the latter because I have one of those.  It may have just been a little system unit thing that plugged into the TV and had controllers, but it's hazy.  All I do remember is the awesome variety of games and stuff like Contra being on there, which is kind of surprising for something being sold out in the open that's clearly a bunch of stolen crap.

There's a couple different varieties of these out there. Super Joy III was one name for them.

I found a whole site and a number on the gay, though sellers don't seem to want to divulge the freaking game list on any of them.

HERE

Search eBay for "plug n play" or some variation of that and you'll find them. They sell for less than $20 and usually aren't of good quality.
