What are games that most people tend to hate, but however you like them?

I totally love Karnov. No idea on why it tends to be put into the bad games category. I think it's a fun little sidescrolling shooter. The one song, though it does get annoying later on, is actually quite catchy.

Fun House

Solar Jetman.  It rarely gets any love even though it is a great game.

 Call me crazy, but I enjoy popping Cheetahmen II in every once in a while...I think that I get hyped on the fact that it's a game that almost didn't make it into the light of day.  It's pretty challenging with all the glitches and whatnot.  ;)

 I think my girlfriend wins in this category...her favorite games include: Fester's Quest, Disney's Adventure in the Magic Kingdom, Caveman Games and Little Nemo.   ;D

Dude, you actually like Deadly Towers.  I think that is the worst game I own.  In fact, it is worse than those Quatro Adventure Games.  I think it is even worse than the Action 52 games.

As far as one I like that could be hated... Is it wrong that I like Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

I actually like Dizzy (except the one-life thing) it's kinda unique on the NES. I played it through over the course of a few days last year, it was a little frustrating but you can do the whole game in like 10 minutes once you know what you're doing so if you die it's no big deal.

I think Linus is interesting but takes way longer and is too difficult for me. At least there's a variety of levels.

I played Boomerang Kid until I got bored, it's pretty poor but playable. I don't Robin Hood. :)

i love friday the 13th. seriously.

TMNT - I love it, though it's probably because along with SMB2 & one of the WWF games was one of the first games I played on the NES back when one of my friends had one and I didn't around 1990ish

Almost everyone loves TMNT, great freaking game.  All the tutlres game but TF are good.

As far as NES fighters go I'd say TF is second best though, behind Best of the Best (appropriately!). Then there's the glut of early asian imports...Karate Champ, Yie Ar Kung Fu, Urban Champion...any others?

Street Fighter 2010 is kinda peripherally related to fighters, and the boss battles are incredible, but it's got platforming. Wierd hybrid, but I like it whereas I've seen people slam it hard.

My best friend thinks Jaws is the worst game ever invented, but I enjoy it. :)

I am also partial to games like Winter Games and California Games.

Double Dragon is good, despite the same player limitations.  At least it has weapons! ;D

TMNT is a very challenging and a good game. Action 52 is just crap.

I like Rad Gravity and Goal!. Not many people seem to know Rad Gravity and it's a terrific game. I realize that Goal! isn't that great but I like it anyway.

From the top of my head Streetfighter 2010 (the game just rocks), Friday the 13th (crappy but cool for short plays), Impossible Mission II (loved it b4 it was relesed for NES).

I'd have to admit that I also really enjoy that game. Never saw what it was that made it SO SO bad...I mean yeah, it's LJN, but it's pretty fun! Not hard at all, in my opinion. I can't see how you can accidently get hit by those tiny things...Jaws and mini-Jaws I understand, but the stingrays are so easily avoidable.

Jaws was very fun I had the hardest time stabbing that damn shark in the boat when I was a kid.

I love Jaws!  I still have never stabbed him with the damn boat either.  Tried like 100 times and can never make it happen.  A thorn in my gaming side.

I wrote a FAQ for Super Pitfall back in the 90s.  I have heard of a whopping 3 people who have actually liked the game.  It's really not that bad once you know what you are doing, but that is the rub.

That's the one thing I also still have trouble doing...I mean, I've done it a few times, but that's it.

And Super Pitfall? The game was okay. I bought it at FuncoLand way back when for like $2. It was kind of confusing, so I stopped after like 15 minutes.
