I've noticed on ebay that the person who used to sell all the Aladdin Deck Enhancers (ADEs) and the complete set of Aladdin carts hasnt sold any in monthes, not since they sold an entire palette of them.

There are currently no complete set on ebay, and the last one was a couple weeks ago and sold for over $100, which is I believe more than what the palette person used to sell their set for.

So does this mean that all the new collectors are going to have to pay more to get these than we did?

Are they finally going to creep back up in rarity?

I was just talking to Dain about this a few nights ago.  I think that is exactly what has happened.  I just recently bought another one sealed with 1 extra cart for $30 cause it was the other version of the ADE.  I just sold the extra cart (Linus Spacehead) for $40 last night in my store.  I think it is incredible smart to just sit on them for a while and just sale 1-2 of them a month.  When I got my first set I had to pay 150 for it and that was a good deal at the time.  Then a few years went by and you could get a full set for like 50 bucks.  It is all basic econmics I guess, no supply = higher demand.

the whole sets will increase in value, but the deck enhancers themselves will stay low.  mostly because the games are in demand.   remember those auctions for a few hundred of deck enhancers?  

I disagree coinheaven.  The same seller who listed those pallets of ADE also had pallets of each game as well.  They just weren't selling the games in pallet form cause I assume they prob had less of them.  Plus you have to have a ADE to play any of the games.  I saw 3 full sets listed today and the price tags weren't cheap either.  If the sellers watch the market and don't flood it then the price for everything will skyrocket again as new collectors still have to fill in holes in there collectons.

There are more ADEs than ADE games.  I remember hearing there were several palettes of ADEs, but relatively fewer palettes of the games.

I think it would be hilarious to buy a palette of ADEs (I think it worked out to $3 a piece for the last buyer), then write a homebrew for the ADE and use the game included with the ADE as the donor cart.   Problem is, ADEs dont work in some of the clones (like NEX) so you'd have a smaller number of people playing them.

I had a chance to buy those. There were so many that every NES collector could have a full set with more left over to spare. Only way that guy will make out is to hold them back and raise the price. Sell 1/5 of them for 5x the price because I don't think he can sell them all.

I still need one, i prefer a complete sealed set with all the games also sealed. So if any of you guys got a spare copy please let me know, i got lots of stuff for trade or i will buy it from you, thanks ;)

A bunch of these was just listed today for pretty decent prices.  The games are 12.50 each BIN and the ADE's are 9.99 starting bid.

heh when i bought my first set it was when the guy that found a warehouse full first started posting. BIN of 75 for the ADE and Games. so i bought 5 copies and sold the other 4 for $150 a piece. : D
