I'm planning on getting a bin worth of loose famicom carts for around $4 each. (I'm not even sure how many. At least 50) Just wondering if I am overpaying.

Depends on what games are in the lot. $4 isn't that bad, but if you're patient, you can find them for $2 or less a piece, with the shipping. But $4 isn't bad if there's something you really want in the lot.

I picked them up. 54 of them total.
I'll have to try them out to figure out what games they are. Most of them dont have English on their labels, and I dont recognize all the pictures. I find them quite interesting. Is there some sort of rarity list for Famicom games?

If Recca is in there, pirate or not, then it was worth it. :P

No, there's no rarity list, but I high doubt you'd get anything too special in a cart lot. The only really rare carts are BB2, Dunk Heroes, and Recca -- thinking from the top of my head.
