Hey guys I'm looking for games similar to Cabal and Operation Wolf.  Games with a crosshair you move around and shoot wildly with.  I've heard Punisher fits the bill, but can you think of any others?

Adventures of Bayou Billy

There are a number of these on....the Sega Master System.  Get it.

Bayou Billy is not the type of game I'm looking for.  I'm looking for games like Operation Wolf and Cabal where your guy doesn't move around the screen, just the cursor.  Also while suggesting games for the Sega Master System is helpful, I am looking for NES games at this point.  Keep the suggestions rolling in.

Hahahaha, okay, let me think.  I believe that's it actually, I cannot recall any more other than games that include short segments like how you describe.  Bayou Billy does have this though on the shooting levels, just minus the cursor, you have to use the Zapper.  Now let's look at a few for the SMS:

Dynamite Duke
T2 The Arcade Game
Operation Wolf
Laser Ghost
Space Gun
Assault City

Damn I can keep going!

Some levels in Bayou Billy are like that. Same goes for Track & Field II

I'm looking for games that do not use the zapper.  I thought most of the ones listed were zapper games.

No, you CAN use the Zapper, but also can switch to regular control pad to move a cursor around.  Just like Operation Wolf, which also uses the Zapper.

Cool thanks Stan, which games are you referring to though, all the ones you mentioned?  If so I'll be thrilled if Laser Invasion works on Agent J's toploader since it won't work on my toaster.

Yeah, the list I gave above, in addition to Mechanized Attack.  Now, I haven't played some of these in awhile, so some of them may only use the Zapper, but I believe they all have the cursor option.  About Laser Invasion.  Though I found this game sealed and complete for a dollar, I have yet to play it, I'm not sure if you can play it without the headset, and if you can it's a good bet the cursor is usable.  I can't see them saying screw you guys you need to get this accessory since that never worked, but it wasn't the most popular game, so...

How is it that nobody here mentioned LJN's The Punisher? :)

I know this is an NES forum, but if you have a Neo-Geo, NAM-1975 is just like Cabal.  Definitely pick up a copy if you have the means.
