Supposedly the main developer of the NES homebrew game "Neotoxin" has been located and he is OK. Has anybody heard if Snowbro will finish the game now? I played the version that has been made available and it looks like it could easily be the best NES game ever made... assuming more work is done on it. Neotoxin feels like a combination of Metroid and Castlevania II. It also reminds me of the upcoming PC game "BioShock".

Snowbro would have to be crazy to not finish the game now that it is this far along. He should finish the game and get actual copies of the cart made.

From what I've heard he's not going to finish the game, but I guess we'll have to wait and see what happens.

I wonder if he would give his blessing and work for someone else to finish it? Surely one of our gifted homebrewers could finish it up.

Yeah, hopefully he will open source the project and all design documents behind it. It really would be nice to see a NES game that combines the good aspects of many of the best NES franchises: Metroid, Castlevania, Metal Gear, etc... all into one solid coherent action-adventure-rpg-platformer game.
