I could do a PDF of my photocopied "copy" if you want... it wouldn't take long using the photocopier at work with its nifty PDF feature

I appreciate the offer, but I think I would rather have it in hardback to read. :D Thanks though!

It's a very intersting read...There's an updated version now that they were selling at GameStop for .99 cents. I don't know if they still have it, but there's a chapter covering the post N64 era.

Wow that looks like a REALLY interesting read. Is this book difficult to find? I'd love to give this a quick read sometime.
Atonomizer, if they still have this at your GameStop, would you mind picking it up for me? |

I got the book with extra chapters (called Game over: Press start to Continue) for Christmas from my girlfriend. I haven't had a chance to read it yet though, I read a different book that she gave me instead. The other book is "Power Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life" by Chris Kohler. I thought it was a great read, you might want to give it a shot after you finish Game Over Martin.

I read that from the public library when it was contemporary. I guess I was maybe 13 or so. Great read.

Thanks for the tip. I loved Game Over when I read it a few years ago but it left me wanting more. I just picked up "Power-Up" on Amazon for $45 which is a bit steep, but I cant wait to read it |

The book is fantastic, and really is a must-read for any NES-era Nintendo fan.
If anyone's still looking for a copy, you can get in on Amazon for relatively cheap. |

I have a copy of this book. I got it 2 years ago but I hate reading. I read the first 3 chapters and put it down. I thought the parts that I read were super interesting but for some reason I just can't get into a book not even a non-fiction about Nintendo. Definitely glad I have the book though and don't want to part with it.
The research that David Sheff did about Nintendo's early history was very extensive. I never realized all the crap Nintendo did back then to become the juggernaut they are today. |

It's a great book and there's a few parts that tell like a proper story. Loses focus a bit towards the end but well worth reading.
