Title: what is a complete pal collection? Post by Dutch nes gamer on 05. Sep 2007 at 12:43
:) i like collecting nes games, but for a pal collector its more tricky than a usa collector.
i mean: what is a complete pal collection? a usa collection is simple, just get em all (pokemon ;D) with usa code but pal? i mean i live in holland so thats pal b,so if i have all pal b games is that a complete pal collection? if you have all pal b games ,must you have all the versions,i mean smb3 esp- fra-noe to call it complete :-? and then there are the pal a games must you have them all to call your pal collection complete? and what to do with unlicend like camerica games( U.K.) :-? :o its so confusing ,but thats what makes the pal games so great ;D |

Some go strictly for pal-b and some for pal-a. I don't mind which code they are, i just collect all games in complete form. I don't worry about pal-a pal-b or whatever as long as it's complete.

A complete collection is really whatever you want it to be. If that is a full PAL A or B set, or every game from every region, up to the collector.
I will be going after a full set of every region worldwide plus variantions. My collection will prob end up being over 5-6 CIBs when I get "finished" ~~NGD |

If you live in Holland, a complete collection for you is whatever games run on an unmodified system that was sold in Holland. So if that is just PAL-B games, then thats all you need to have a complete collection. Keep in mind that a bunch of unlicensed games will likely work on it as well.
Everything else is a regional variant. I'm like NGD, I gotta get em all. Al |

I'm not interested in having TMHT ESP, EEC, FRA, SCN, UKV, NOE, etc. That's only interesting tom me if the label is totally different (Mega Man 2 NOE or Adventures in the Magic Kingdom SCN).
Not all PAL-B games were sold in Holland (well not officially released anyways), but they should be in the collection anyways. |

I think the better question is:
Does anybody have a full list of every game released in every region? Technically I guess a full PAL collection is if you own every single copy of each game for every region. So if Super Mario Bros was released in Holland, France, and Spain, then you'd need 1 copy of it for each region. -Nick |
