That sounds like one of those email phishing scams and nothing to really do with ebay at all.  Was funny for a good laugh though :P  I get emails all the time like that.  The best one was from an auction that I had bid on from braveheat.  They ask me if I was interested in the item.  I was like sure, just tell me what your first name is and I will send the cash straight over to you.  They of course didn't use Erik's real name and I laughed at them and then reported them to ebay and the police :D
