Is this old news? I haven't heard anyone bring this up.

The sad thng is, I've been waiting for this movie or book for years and Paul Anderson is doing it. (Think Resident Evil.) Now, I did like RE, but it is B-Rate horror with an A-Rate budget. I don't want CV to be B horror.

I think the guy who wrote and directed The Mummy should do it.

Actually, I heard that Paul W.S. Anderson pulled out and some new guy is directing. I don't know for sure I heard it from a credible source, though.

Apparently the new director is actually a fan of the games.

great, it'll probably be uwe boll...

unfortunately if you want to know what a hollywood castlevania will look like, go rent van helsing. i guarantee you now that they'll just change the character names and have the same script.

don't get me wrong, i've wanted to see a castlevania movie for years, but its one of those franchises that you would say "there's no way they could screw this up" and then they will. they should just make a monster squad 2.

I know they were planning to make a movie but not exactly when. Can't wait to see it, the special effects must be stunning i guess.

Ah yes, good ol' Monster Squad!

I don't care how cheesy it is, Duncan Regehr is one of the better Dracula's around.

You know what.......I am not going to give anybody ideas.
Castlevania can't be done because their was already a bunch of dracula films

I hope it is like a B-movie ( or moderatly Lexx ).
